BIOGRAPHY

Prior to co-founding K&A, Christopher Komari garnered extensive experience residing abroad and representing individuals and institutions from Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. His frequent exposure to international stakeholders and diverse cultures serves as the foundation of his tailored, client-first approach. While commencing his cross-border corporate training in São Paulo, Christopher assisted issuers, shareholders, companies, and financial institutions on general securities and corporate matters, including corporate governance, initial public offerings, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, JV agreements, and sales transactions.

As outside general counsel, Christopher advises emerging growth and smaller reporting companies on day-to-day contract matters and provides general counsel services. He regularly represents shareholders and founding members in their entity formation and seed-stage investments using convertible notes, SAFEs, and other financial instruments while setting a foundation for the public offering process. Christopher guides transactions for key-players and market-makers in a variety of sectors, including Banking & Finance, Renewable Energy, Emerging Technology, Information Technology, and Real Estate.

In addition to his corporate practice, Christopher maintains a substantial immigration practice. He works with academics, artists, investors, researchers, and scientists, on their immigrant and nonimmigrant strategies. Furthermore, he enjoys representing individuals in the firm’s pro bono practice to help individuals in family-based immigration and naturalization matters, including clients in removal proceedings and litigation in the Second and Third Circuit.
