BIOGRAPHY
Before Mustafa Alkhasoneh collaborated his global experience to establish K&A, he furthered his father-established legacy by working at Khalil Alkhasoneh, an Amman-based full-service law firm. While in Amman, Mustafa advised Corporations and Entrepreneurs on transactional matters and corporate issues, such as drafting agreements and counseling on Joint Ventures in a variety of business areas. Mustafa also gained extensive experience in Islamic finance, Banking, and Sharia compliant Investments by negotiating contracts and implementation of Islamic financial instruments such as Sukuk, Wadia, Rahn, Qard Hasan, Waqf, Murabaha, and Ijara.
While at Khalil Alkhasoneh, Mustafa discovered the importance of western jurisprudence on international transactions. He decided to expand his legal expertise by relocating and studying law in the United States. After becoming a US Attorney, Mustafa dedicated his professional focus to US Immigration, with concentrations on H1-B Specialty Occupations, Employer petitions for foreign nationals to work in the US, as well as family-based permanent immigration. Mustafa then capitalized on his previous corporate experience and cultural skills to counsel high-net-worth foreign nationals on EB-5 petitions. He guided teams to conduct corporate due diligence and established relationships with US regional centers to ensure compliance with U.S. securities laws at the state and local levels, as set out in the U.S. Securities Act of 1933 and regulated by the SEC.
Although Mustafa maintains the immigration practice and regularly advises individuals, businesses, and employers on immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, Mustafa leverages his international corporate law background to advise international companies on their Middle Eastern transactions, which include sectors in Banking & Finance, Renewable Energy, Information Technology, and Real Estate.
